وقوله : ( ومنهم من يستمعون إليك ) أي : يسمعون كلامك الحسن ، والقرآن العظيم ، والأحاديث الصحيحة الفصيحة النافعة في القلوب والأبدان والأديان ، وفي هذا كفاية عظيمة ، ولكن ليس ذلك إليك ولا إليهم ، فإنك لا تقدر على إسماع الأصم - وهو الأطرش - فكذلك لا تقدر على هداية هؤلاء ، إلا أن يشاء الله .
