وقال قتادة : أي من حب يوسف لا تنساه ولا تسلاه ، قالوا لوالدهم كلمة غليظة ، لم يكن ينبغي لهم أن يقولوها لوالدهم ، ولا لنبي الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وكذا قال السدي ، وغيره .
