Tajweed rule: Izhar

Izhhaar means ‘to make clear or distinct’. In the context of the recitation of the Qur’an, it means ‘pronouncing a letter without ġunnah, i.e. without a sound from the nasal cavity.

Rule Color: بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ

Rule Letters:
(ا,ح,خ,ع,غ,ه) < (نْ or ـًـٍـٌ)

If a Noon Saakin or a Tanween نْ or ـًـٍـٌ is followed by any of throat letters ا,ح,خ,ع,غ,ه , the Noon Saakin or the Tanween is pronounced clearly without ġunnah
