The seventh word of verse (29:67) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A circumstantial particle and verb. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "while" and is used to indicate the circumstance of events. The passive form V imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is khā ṭā fā (خ ط ف).
