The 27th word of verse (5:44) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is khā shīn yā (خ ش ي). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun. The yā of the first person singular object pronoun has been omitted due to elision (الياء محذوفة), and is indicated by the kasrah.
