17:110 - Al-Isra

Verse 110

قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱللَّهَ أَوِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَۖ أَيّٗا مَّا تَدۡعُواْ فَلَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ وَلَا تَجۡهَرۡ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتۡ بِهَا وَٱبۡتَغِ بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلٗا ١١٠
Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Compassionate—whichever you call, He has the Most Beautiful Names.” Do not recite your prayers too loudly or silently, but seek a way between.
2:238 - Al-Baqarah

Verse 238

حَٰفِظُواْ عَلَى ٱلصَّلَوَٰتِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ٱلۡوُسۡطَىٰ وَقُومُواْ لِلَّهِ قَٰنِتِينَ ٢٣٨

Database Structure

The QUL exports ayah topics data as a SQLite database with the following structure:

  • arabic_name: The Arabic name or transliteration of the topic (if available)
  • verse_key: The verse identifier in format "chapter:verse" (e.g., "2:255")
  • is_ontology: Boolean indicating if this is an ontology topic
  • is_thematic: Boolean indicating if this is a thematic topic
  • parent_topic_id: ID of the parent topic (for hierarchical organization)
  • description: Detailed description of what the topic encompasses
