Verse 50

وَإِذۡ فَرَقۡنَا بِكُمُ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَنجَيۡنَٰكُمۡ وَأَغۡرَقۡنَآ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَأَنتُمۡ تَنظُرُونَ ٥٠
Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And ˹remember˺ when We parted the sea, rescued you, and drowned Pharaoh’s people before your very eyes.
26:63 - Ash-Shu'ara

Verse 63

فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضۡرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرۡقٖ كَٱلطَّوۡدِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ٦٣

So We inspired Moses: “Strike the sea with your staff,” and the sea was split, each part was like a huge mountain.
26:64 - Ash-Shu'ara

Verse 64

وَأَزۡلَفۡنَا ثَمَّ ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ ٦٤

We drew the pursuers to that place,
26:65 - Ash-Shu'ara

Verse 65

وَأَنجَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ ٦٥

and delivered Moses and those with him all together.
26:66 - Ash-Shu'ara

Verse 66

ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ ٦٦

Then We drowned the others.
20:77 - Taha

Verse 77

وَلَقَدۡ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِي فَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُمۡ طَرِيقٗا فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ يَبَسٗا لَّا تَخَٰفُ دَرَكٗا وَلَا تَخۡشَىٰ ٧٧
Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And We surely inspired Moses, ˹saying,˺ “Leave with My servants ˹at night˺ and strike a dry passage for them across the sea. Have no fear of being overtaken, nor be concerned ˹of drowning˺.”
20:78 - Taha

Verse 78

فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمۡ ٧٨

Then Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers—but how overwhelming were the waters that submerged them!
