A stem sits between the root and the word as it actually appears. It is the base
pattern a word carries before prefixes, suffixes and inflection are applied, which makes it useful for
grouping closely related surface forms.
This resource gives the stems of an ayah at a time: for each ayah, the stem of each of
its words in order. If you need the stem of one specific word instead, use the
Word stem resource.
Example
Ayah 73:4 has these stems:
73:4
أَوْ زِدْ عَلَيْ رَتِّلِ قُرْءَانَ تَرْتِيلًا

TEXT
The stem of each word in the ayah, in word order, separated by spaces.
The stems are listed in word order but are not individually numbered. To line them up with the words
of the ayah you also need the word by word Quran script, available on the
Quran Scripts page.
