A lemma is the dictionary form of a word — what you would look up in a lexicon.
Every conjugated verb and inflected noun in the Quran maps back to one lemma, which makes it the right
unit for counting how often a word is used.
This resource gives the lemmas of an ayah at a time: for each ayah, the dictionary
form of each of its words in order. If you need the lemma of one specific word instead, use the
Word lemma resource.
Example
Ayah 73:4 has these lemmas:
73:4
أَو زَادَ عَلَىٰ رَتَّلْ قُرْءَان تَرْتِيل

TEXT
The lemma of each word in the ayah, in word order, separated by spaces.
The lemmas are listed in word order but are not individually numbered. To line them up with the words
of the ayah you also need the word by word Quran script, available on the
Quran Scripts page.
