60:4

قَدۡ كَانَتۡ لَكُمۡ أُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٞ فِيٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥٓ إِذۡ قَالُواْ لِقَوۡمِهِمۡ إِنَّا بُرَءَٰٓؤُاْ مِنكُمۡ وَمِمَّا تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَفَرۡنَا بِكُمۡ وَبَدَا بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمُ ٱلۡعَدَٰوَةُ وَٱلۡبَغۡضَآءُ أَبَدًا حَتَّىٰ تُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَحۡدَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَوۡلَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ لَأَسۡتَغۡفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَآ أَمۡلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖۖ رَّبَّنَا عَلَيۡكَ تَوَكَّلۡنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ أَنَبۡنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ ٤

Sesungguhnya telah ada suri teladan yang baik bagimu pada Ibrāhīm dan orang-orang yang bersama dengan dia; ketika mereka berkata kepada kaum mereka, "Sesungguhnya kami berlepas diri dari kamu dari dari apa yang kamu sembah selain Allah, kami ingkari (kekafiran)mu dan telah nyata antara kami dan kamu permusuhan dan kebencian buat selama-lamanya sampai kamu beriman kepada Allah saja". Kecuali perkataan Ibrāhīm kepada bapaknya¹, "Sesungguhnya aku akan memohonkan ampunan bagi kamu dan aku tiada dapat menolak sesuatu pun dari kamu (siksaan) Allah". (Ibrāhīm berkata), "Ya Tuhan kami hanya kepada Engkau-lah kami bertawakal dan hanya kepada Engkau-lah kami bertobat dan hanya kepada Engkau-lah kami kembali,

[1] Nabi Ibrāhīm ‘Alaihissalām pernah memintakan ampunan bagi bapaknya yang musyrik kepada Allah Subḥānahu wa Ta‘ālā. Ini tidak boleh ditiru, karena Allah Subḥānahu wa Ta‘ālā tidak membenarkan orang mukmin memintakan ampunan untuk orangorang kafir (lihat surah (4) An-Nisā` ayat 48).

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
