Fadel Soliman, Bridges’ translation translation for Surah Al-Hashr — Ayah 21

59:21
لَوۡ أَنزَلۡنَا هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٖ لَّرَأَيۡتَهُۥ خَٰشِعٗا مُّتَصَدِّعٗا مِّنۡ خَشۡيَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلُ نَضۡرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ٢١
Had We sent this Recital1 down upon a mountain, yousg would have seen it (trembling) in reverence, crumbling in awe of Allah. And these parables We set forth for mankind, that they may reflect.
