Fadel Soliman, Bridges’ translation translation for Surah Al-Jumu'ah — Ayah 2

62:2
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ ٢
It is He who sent among the gentiles1 a messenger from among themselves, reading His signs2 to them and purifying them and teaching them the Scripture and wisdom—although they were indeed in evident misguidance before that—
