Fadel Soliman, Bridges’ translation translation for Surah Al-Mulk — Ayah 9

67:9
قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ قَدۡ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٞ فَكَذَّبۡنَا وَقُلۡنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَيۡءٍ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ كَبِيرٖ ٩
They said1, “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we disbelieved and said, ‘Allah did not bestow anything from on high; it is youpl who are greatly misguided!’”
