60:4

قَدۡ كَانَتۡ لَكُمۡ أُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٞ فِيٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥٓ إِذۡ قَالُواْ لِقَوۡمِهِمۡ إِنَّا بُرَءَٰٓؤُاْ مِنكُمۡ وَمِمَّا تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَفَرۡنَا بِكُمۡ وَبَدَا بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمُ ٱلۡعَدَٰوَةُ وَٱلۡبَغۡضَآءُ أَبَدًا حَتَّىٰ تُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَحۡدَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَوۡلَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ لَأَسۡتَغۡفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَآ أَمۡلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖۖ رَّبَّنَا عَلَيۡكَ تَوَكَّلۡنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ أَنَبۡنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ ٤

Realmente, tienen un buen ejemplo en Abraham y en quienes creyeron con él cuando dijeron a su pueblo: “Nos desentendemos de ustedes y de lo que adoran fuera de Al-lah. Renegamos de ustedes, y desde hoy se establece la enemistad y el odio entre nosotros y ustedes para siempre, hasta que crean solamente en Al-lah”. Pero no hagan como Abraham¹ cuando dijo a su padre: “Pediré perdón a Al-lah por ti, mas no puedo hacer nada por ti (si Al-lah decide castigarte)”. (Después, tras haber partido del lugar junto con sus seguidores, invocó a Al-lah diciéndole:) “¡Señor nuestro!, a Ti nos encomendamos, a Ti nos volvemos en arrepentimiento (y en todos nuestros asuntos) y a Ti es nuestro retorno (el Día de la Resurrección).

Footnotes

[1] El creyente no debe pedir a Al-lah que perdone a un idólatra porque la idolatría es el pecado más grave para Al-lah y el único que no perdona, a menos que el idólatra se arrepienta y siga la verdad. Abraham pidió a Al-lah que perdonase a su padre antes de tener la certeza de que era un enemigo de Al-lah. Cuando supo que su padre no iba a aceptar la verdad, se alejó de él y siguió su propio camino.

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
