65:1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقۡتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحۡصُواْ ٱلۡعِدَّةَۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمۡۖ لَا تُخۡرِجُوهُنَّ مِنۢ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخۡرُجۡنَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأۡتِينَ بِفَٰحِشَةٖ مُّبَيِّنَةٖۚ وَتِلۡكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ ظَلَمَ نَفۡسَهُۥۚ لَا تَدۡرِي لَعَلَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحۡدِثُ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ أَمۡرٗا ١

¡Oh, Profeta!, (informa a los creyentes que) si divorcian a sus mujeres, deben hacerlo durante el tiempo dispuesto para ello¹ y calculen con precisión el periodo de espera decretado². Y teman a Al-lah, su Señor. No las expulsen de sus hogares, y que ellas no los abandonen (por su propia voluntad) a menos que hayan cometido una clara inmoralidad. Estos son los preceptos que Al-lah establece. Y quien los infrinja habrá sido injusto consigo mismo. Tú (hombre) no sabes si, tras el divorcio, Al-lah puede decretar algo nuevo (como la reconciliación).

Footnotes

[1] Se refiere a cuando no estén menstruando ni ellos hayan mantenido con ellas una relación íntima desde su última menstruación.
[2] Las esposas divorciadas deben esperar tres menstruaciones antes de volverse a casar para asegurarse de que no están embarazadas, ya que si lo están, el periodo de espera es hasta que den a luz. Durante ese periodo tienen derecho a permanecer en el hogar conyugal y a ser mantenidas por los que eran sus maridos. Estos pueden tomarlas nuevamente por esposas, si así lo desean, sin la necesidad de un nuevo contrato de matrimonio durante dicho periodo, pero si este finaliza, es necesario un nuevo contrato (ver también las aleyas 228-233 de la sura 2).

To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
