قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: يَعْنِي بِهِ قَيْنُقَاعَ، أَمْكَنَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ قَبْلَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ. وَقَالَ قَتَادَةُ: يَعْنِي بَنِي النَّضِيرِ، أَمْكَنَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ قَبْلَ قُرَيْظَةَ. مُجَاهِدٌ: يَعْنِي كُفَّارَ قُرَيْشٍ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ. وَقِيلَ: هُوَ عَامٌّ فِي كُلِّ مَنِ انْتَقَمَ مِنْهُ عَلَى كُفْرِهِ قبل بني الضير مِنْ نُوحٍ إِلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ. وَمَعْنَى وَبالَ جَزَاءُ كُفْرِهِمْ. وَمَنْ قَالَ: هُمْ بَنُو قُرَيْظَةَ، جَعَلَ وَبالَ أَمْرِهِمْ نُزُولَهُمْ عَلَى حُكْمِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، فَحَكَمَ فِيهِمْ بِقَتْلِ الْمُقَاتِلَةِ وَسَبْيِ الذُّرِّيَّةِ. وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الضَّحَّاكِ. وَمَنْ قَالَ الْمُرَادُ بَنُو النَّضِيرِ قَالَ: وَبالَ أَمْرِهِمْ الْجَلَاءُ وَالنَّفْيُ. وَكَانَ بَيْنَ النَّضِيرِ وَقُرَيْظَةَ سَنَتَانِ. وَكَانَتْ وَقْعَةُ بَدْرٍ قَبْلَ غَزْوَةِ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ بِسِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ، فَلِذَلِكَ قَالَ: قَرِيباً وَقَدْ قَالَ قَوْمٌ: غَزْوَةُ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ بَعْدَ وَقْعَةِ أحد. وَلَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ [[كلمة أَلِيمٌ ساقطة من هـ.]] في الآخرة.

Tafsir content may span multiple ayahs. QUL exports both the tafsir text and the ayahs it applies to.
