Tafsir Bayan ul Quran tafsir for Surah Al-Mumtahanah — Ayah 8

لَّا يَنۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَلَمۡ يُخۡرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمۡ وَتُقۡسِطُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ ٨

آیت 8{ لَا یَنْہٰٹکُمُ اللّٰہُ عَنِ الَّذِیْنَ لَمْ یُقَاتِلُوْکُمْ فِی الدِّیْنِ وَلَمْ یُخْرِجُوْکُمْ مِّنْ دِیَارِکُمْ اَنْ تَـبَـرُّوْہُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوْٓا اِلَـیْہِمْ } ”اللہ تمہیں نہیں روکتا ان لوگوں سے جنہوں نے دین کے معاملے میں تم سے کبھی جنگ نہیں کی اور تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نہیں نکالا کہ تم ان کے ساتھ کوئی بھلائی کرو یا انصاف کا معاملہ کرو۔“ یعنی وہ غیر حربی کافر ‘ جن کے ساتھ تمہاری جنگ نہیں ہے ‘ تم لوگوں کو مکہ سے بےدخل کرنے میں بھی ان کا کوئی کردار نہیں اور نہ ہی انہوں نے تمہارے خلاف تمہارے دشمنوں کی کبھی مدد کی ہے ‘ ایسے لوگوں کے ساتھ احسان اور بھلائی کا سلوک روا رکھنے میں کوئی مضائقہ نہیں۔ ایسے لوگوں کے ساتھ دنیوی معاملات کے حوالے سے عدل و انصاف کے تمام تقاضے بھی پورے کرنے چاہئیں۔ البتہ ولایت کا رشتہ اور قلبی محبت کا تعلق ان کے ساتھ بھی قائم کرنے کی اجازت نہیں ہے۔ { اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِیْنَ۔ } ”بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند کرتا ہے۔“

QUL supports exporting tafsir content in both JSON and SQLite formats. Tafsir text may include <html> tags for formatting such as <b>, <i>, etc.

  • Keys in the JSON are "ayah_key" in "surah:ayah", e.g. "2:3" means 3rd ayah of Surah Al-Baqarah.
  • The value of ayah key can either be:
    • an object — this is the main tafsir group. It includes:
      • text: the tafsir content (can include HTML)
      • ayah_keys: an array of ayah keys this tafsir applies to
    • a string — this indicates the tafsir is part of a group. The string points to the ayah_key where the tafsir text can be found.

SQLite exports includes the following columns

  • ayah_key: the ayah for which this record applies.
  • group_ayah_key: the ayah key that contains the main tafsir text (used for shared tafsir).
  • from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).
  • ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.
  • text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
