آیت 9{ وَدُّوْا لَوْ تُدْہِنُ فَیُدْہِنُوْنَ۔ } ”وہ تو چاہتے ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ ذرا ڈھیلے پڑیں تو وہ بھی ڈھیلے پڑجائیں۔“ باطل کا تو وطیرہ ہے کہ پہلے وہ حق کو جھٹلاتا ہے ‘ پھر جب اس کے مقابلے میں کھڑے ہونا مشکل نظر آتا ہے تو مداہنت compromise پر اتر آتا ہے۔ لیکن حق کسی قسم کی مداہنت یا کسی درمیانی راستے کو نہیں جانتا۔ بقول اقبال ؎باطل دوئی پسند ہے حق لا شریک ہے شرکت میانہ حق و باطل نہ کر قبول ! اگلی آیات میں نام لیے بغیر انتہائی سخت الفاظ میں ایک کردار کا ذکر ہوا ہے۔ کسی معتبر روایت سے تو ثابت نہیں لیکن زیادہ تر مفسرین کا خیال ہے کہ ان آیات کا مصداق ولید بن مغیرہ تھا :

from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
