آیت 33{ ثُمَّ ذَہَبَ اِلٰٓی اَہْلِہٖ یَتَمَطّٰی۔ } ”پھر چل دیا اپنے گھر والوں کے پاس اکڑتا ہوا۔“ ان آیات میں ایک شخص کی حق دشمنی ‘ ڈھٹائی اور اکڑفوں کی لفظی تصویر دکھائی گئی ہے۔ یہ تصویر سردارانِ قریش میں سے کسی خاص شخص کی بھی ہوسکتی ہے اور مجموعی طور پر ان کے عمومی کردار کی بھی۔ سردارانِ قریش کے اس رویے کی جھلک سورة صٓ کی اس آیت میں بھی دکھائی دیتی ہے : { وَانْطَلَقَ الْمَلَاُ مِنْہُمْ اَنِ امْشُوْا وَاصْبِرُوْا عَلٰٓی اٰلِہَتِکُمْج اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَشَیْئٌ یُّرَادُ۔ } ”اور چل پڑے ان کے سردار یہ کہتے ہوئے کہ چلو جائو اور جمے رہو اپنے معبودوں پر ‘ یقینا اس بات میں تو کوئی غرض پوشیدہ ہے۔“
