67:23

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ ٢٣

اِن سے کہو اللہ ہی ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا، تم کو سُننے اور دیکھنے کی طاقتیں دیں اور سوچنے سمجھنے والے دل دیے، مگر تم کم ہی شکر ادا کرتے ہو۔¹

[1] یعنی اللہ نے تو تمہیں انسان بنا یا تھا، جانور نہیں بنایا تھا۔ تمہارا کام یہ نہیں تھا کہ جو گمراہی بھِ دنیا میں پھیلی ہوئی ہو اس کے پیچھے آنکھیں بند کر کے چل پڑو اور کچھ نہ سوچو کہ جس راہ پر تم جا رہے ہو وہ صحیح بھی ہے یا نہیں۔ یہ کان تمہیں اس لیے تو نہیں دیے گئے تھے کہ جو شخص تمہیں صحیح اور غلط کا فرق سمجھانے کی کوشش کرے اس کی بات سُن کر نہ دو اور جو غلط سلط باتیں پہلے سے تمہارے دماغ میں بیٹھی ہوئی ہیں اُنہی پر اَڑے رہو۔ یہ آنکھیں تمہیں اس لیے تو نہیں دی گئی تھیں کہ اندھے بن کر دوسروں کی پیروری کرتے رہو اور خود اپنی بینائی سے کام لے کر یہ نہ دیکھو کہ زمین سے آسمان تک ہر طرف جو نشانیاں پھیلی ہوئی ہیں وہ آیا اُس توحید کی شہادت دے رہی ہے جسے خدا کا رسول پیش کر رہا ہے یا یہ شہادت دے رہی ہیں کہ یہ سارا نظامِ کائنات بے خدا ہے یا بہت سے خدا اس کو چلا رہے ہیں۔ اسی طرح یہ دل و دماغ بھی تمہیں اس لیے نہیں دیے گئے تھے کہ تم سوچنے سمجھنے کا کام دوسروں کے حوالے کر کے ہر اُس طریقے کی پیروی کرنے لوگ جو دنیا میں کسی نے جا ری کر دیا ہے اور اپنی عقل سے کام لے کر یہ سوچنے کی کوئی زحمت گوارا نہ کرو کہ وہ غلط ہے یا صحیح۔ اللہ نے علم و عقل اور سماعت و بینائی کی یہ نعمتیں تمہیں حق شناسی کے لیے دی تھیں۔ تم نا شکری کر رہے ہو کہ ان سے اور سارے کام تو لیتے ہو مگر بس وہی ایک کام نہیں لیتے جس کے لیے یہ دی گئی تھیں ( مزید تشریح کے لیے ملا حظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن، جلد دوم ، النحل ، حواشی72۔73،جلد سوم، المومنون، حواشی75۔7۶۔ جلد چہارم ، السجدہ، حواشی17۔18۔ الاحقاف، حاشیہ 31)۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
