68:48

فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ ٱلۡحُوتِ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ مَكۡظُومٞ ٤٨

پس اپنے ربّ کا فیصلہ صادر ہونے تک صبر کرو¹ اور مچھلی والے (یونسؑ)کی طرح نہ ہو جاوٴ،² جب اُس نے پکارا تھا اور وہ غم سے بھرا ہو۱ تھا۔³

[1] سورہ انبیاء میں اس کی تفصیل یہ بیان کی گئی ہے کہ مچھلی کے پیٹ اور سمندر کی تاریکیوں میں حضرت یونس علیہ السلام نے پکارا تھا لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّآ اَنْتَ سُبْحٰنَکَ اِنِّیْ کُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِیْنَ،"کوئی خدا نہیں تیری پاک ذات کے سوا، میں واقعی خطا وار ہوں"۔ اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کی فریاد سن لی اور ان کو غم سے نجات دی(آیات87۔88)۔
[2] یعنی یونس علیہ السلام کی طرح بے صبری سے کام نہ لوجو اپنی بے صبری کی وجہ سے مچھلی کے پیٹ پہنچا دیے گئے تھے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اللہ کا فیصلہ آنے تک صبر کی تلقین کرنے کے بعد فوراً ہی یہ فرمانا کہ یونس علیہ السلام کی طرح نہ ہو جاؤ، خود بخود اس بات پر دلالت کرتا ہے کہ انہوں نے اللہ کا فیصلہ آنے سے پہلے بے صبری سے کوئی کام کیا تھا جس کی بنا پر وہ عتاب کے مستحق ہو گئے تھے۔ (تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن،جلد دوم، یونس، آیت98،حاشیہ99۔جلدسو۔،الانبیاء، آیات87۔88۔ حواشی 82 تا 85 ۔ جلد چہارم ، الصّافات، آیات139تا 148، حواشی78 تا 85)۔
[3] یعنی وہ وقت ابھی دور ہے جب اللہ تعالیٰ تمہاری فتح و نصرت اور تمہارے اِن مخالفین کی شکست کا فیصلہ فرمادے گا۔ اُس وقت کے آنے تک جو تکلیفیں اور مصیبتیں بھی اس دین کی تبلیغ میں پیش آئیں انہں صبر کے ساتھ براداشت کرتے چلے جاؤ۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
