87:9

فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ ٩

لہٰذا تم نصیحت کرو اگر نصیحت نافع ہو۔¹

[1] عا م طور پر مفسّرین نے اِن دو فقروں کو الگ الگ سمجھا ہے۔ پہلے فقرے کا مطلب انہوں نے یہ لیا ہے کہ ہم تمہیں ایک آسان شریعت دے رہے ہیں جس پر عمل کرنا سہل ہے، اور دوسرے فقرے کا یہ مطلب لیا ہے کہ نصیحت کرو اگر وہ نافع ہو۔ لیکن ہمارے نزدیک فَذَکِّرْ کا لفظ دونوں فقروں کو باہم مربوط کرتا ہے اور بعد کے فقرے کا مضمون پہلے فقرے کے مضمون پر مترتّب ہوتا ہے۔ اس لیے ہم اس ارشاد الہٰی کا مطلب یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ اے نبی ؐ ہم تبلیغِ دین کے معاملہ میں تم کو کسی مشکل میں نہیں ڈالنا چاہتے کہ تم بہروں کو سناؤ اور اندھوں کو راہ دکھاؤ، بلکہ ایک آسان طریقہ تمہارے لیے میسّر کیے دیتے ہیں ، اور وہ یہ ہے کہ نصیحت کرو جہاں تمہیں یہ محسوس ہو کہ کوئی اُس سے فائدہ اُٹھا نے کے لیے تیار ہے۔ اب رہی یہ بات کہ کون اس سے فائدہ اٹھانے کے لیے تیار ہے اور کون نہیں ہے، تو ظاہر ہے کہ ا س کا پتہ تبلیغِ عام ہی سے چل سکتا ہے۔ اس لیے عام تبلیغ تو جاری رکھنی چاہیے ، مگر اس سے تمہارا مقصود یہ ہونا چاہیے کہ اللہ کے بندوں میں سے اُن لوگوں کو تلاش کرو جو اس سے فائدہ اٹھا کر راہِ راست اختیار کر لیں۔ یہی لوگ تمہاری نگاہِ التفات کے مستحق ہیں اور انہی کی تعلیم و تربیت پر تمہیں توجہ صرف کرنا چاہیے۔ اِن کو چھوڑ کر ایسے لوگوں کے پیچھے پڑنے کے تمہیں کوئی ضرورت نہیں ہے جن کے متعلق تجربے سے تمہیں معلوم ہو جائے کہ وہ کوئی نصیحت قبول نہیں کرنا چاہتے۔ یہ قریب قریب وہی مضمون ہے جو سورۂ عَبَس میں دوسرے طریقے سے یوں بیان فرمایا گیا ہے کہ ”جو شخص بے پروائی برتتا ہے اس کی طرف تو تم توجہ کرتے ہو ، حالانکہ اگر وہ نہ سُدھرے تو تم پر اس کی کیا ذمّہ داری ہے؟ اور جو خود تمہارے پاس دوڑا آتا ہے اور وہ ڈر رہا ہوتا ہے اُس سے تم بے رخی برتتے ہو۔ ہر گز نہیں۔ یہ تو ایک نصیحت ہے ، جس کا جی چاہے اسے قبول کرے۔“(آیات 5 تا 12)۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
