فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡهَا قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا لَضَآلُّونَ ٢٦ بَلۡ نَحۡنُ مَحۡرُومُونَ ٢٧ قَالَ أَوۡسَطُهُمۡ أَلَمۡ أَقُل لَّكُمۡ لَوۡلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ ٢٨ قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ ٢٩ فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَلَٰوَمُونَ ٣٠ قَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا طَٰغِينَ ٣١ عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبۡدِلَنَا خَيۡرٗا مِّنۡهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَٰغِبُونَ ٣٢ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡعَذَابُۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ ٣٣

فلما رأوا حديقتهم محترقة أنكروها، وقالوا: لقد أخطأنا الطريق إليها، فلما عرفوا أنها هي جنتهم، قالوا: بل نحن محرومون خيرها؛ بسبب عزمنا على البخل ومنع المساكين. قال أعدَلُهم: ألم أقل لكم هلّا تستثنون وتقولون: إن شاء الله؟ قالوا بعد أن عادوا إلى رشدهم: تنزَّه الله ربنا عن الظلم فيما أصابنا، بل نحن كنا الظالمين لأنفسنا بترك الاستثناء وقصدنا السيِّئ. فأقبل بعضهم على بعض، يلوم كل منهم الآخر على تركهم الاستثناء وعلى قصدهم السيِّئ، قالوا: يا ويلنا إنّا كنا متجاوزين الحد في منعنا الفقراء ومخالفة أمر الله، عسى ربنا أن يعطينا أفضل من حديقتنا؛ بسبب توبتنا واعترافنا بخطيئتنا. إنا إلى ربنا وحده راغبون، راجون العفو، طالبون الخير. مثلَ ذلك العقاب الذي عاقبْنا به أهل الحديقة، يكون عقابنا في الدنيا لكل مَن خالف أمر الله، وبخل بما آتاه الله من النعم، فلم يؤدِّ حق الله فيها، ولَعذاب الآخرة أعظم وأشد مِن عذاب الدنيا، لو كانوا يعلمون لانزجروا عن كل سبب يوجب العقاب.

QUL supports exporting tafsir content in both JSON and SQLite formats. Tafsir text may include <html> tags for formatting such as <b>, <i>, etc.

  • Keys in the JSON are "ayah_key" in "surah:ayah", e.g. "2:3" means 3rd ayah of Surah Al-Baqarah.
  • The value of ayah key can either be:
    • an object — this is the main tafsir group. It includes:
      • text: the tafsir content (can include HTML)
      • ayah_keys: an array of ayah keys this tafsir applies to
    • a string — this indicates the tafsir is part of a group. The string points to the ayah_key where the tafsir text can be found.

SQLite exports includes the following columns

  • ayah_key: the ayah for which this record applies.
  • group_ayah_key: the ayah key that contains the main tafsir text (used for shared tafsir).
  • from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).
  • ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.
  • text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
