سَأَلَ سَآئِلُۢ بِعَذَابٖ وَاقِعٖ ١ لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٞ ٢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ذِي ٱلۡمَعَارِجِ ٣ تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ ٤

You are reading tafsir of 4 ayahs: 70:1 to 70:4.

تسمية السورة

• سميت المعارج؛ لذكر عروج الملائكة والروح من الأرض إلى السماء في مطلع السورة.

من مقاصد السورة

• تهديد الكافرين بعذاب يوم القيامة، وتصويرُ حالهم في ذلك اليوم الفظيع، وتثبيتُ النبي ﷺ وتسليتُه عمّا يلقاه من المشركين المستهزئين به.

• ذكر طبيعة الإنسان؛ من الجَزَع عند الشدة، والبَطَر عند النعمة، ومقابلةُ ذلك بأعمال المؤمنين التي أوجبت لهم دارَ الكرامة.

• التأكيد بالقسم على أن البعث والجزاء حق لا ريب فيه.

[التفسير]

دعا داع من المشركين على نفسه وقومه بنزول العذاب عليهم، وهو واقع بهم يوم القيامة لا محالة، ليس له مانع يمنعه من الله ذي العلو والجلال، تصعد الملائكة وجبريل إليه تعالى في يوم كان مقداره خمسين ألف سنة من سني الدنيا، وهو على المؤمن مثل صلاة مكتوبة.

Keys in the JSON are "ayah_key" in "surah:ayah", e.g. "2:3" means 3rd ayah of Surah Al-Baqarah.
The value of ayah key can either be:
- an object — this is the main tafsir group. It includes:
  - text: the tafsir content (can include HTML)
  - ayah_keys: an array of ayah keys this tafsir applies to
- a string — this indicates the tafsir is part of a group. The string points to the ayah_key where the tafsir text can be found.

SQLite exports includes the following columns

ayah_key: the ayah for which this record applies.
group_ayah_key: the ayah key that contains the main tafsir text (used for shared tafsir).
from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).
ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.
text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
