وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ ١١٤ وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ١١٥ وَنَصَرۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ ١١٦ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَبِينَ ١١٧ وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ ١١٨ وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ ١١٩ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ ١٢٠ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ ١٢١ إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ١٢٢

You are reading tafsir of 9 ayahs: 37:114 to 37:122.

God helped the Prophet Moses and his community and relieved them from the oppression of Pharaoh. This was made possible through the dawah work performed by Moses. He preached the truth before Pharaoh. After the completion of the tenure of his dawah mission came the time for Pharaoh to be pronounced guilty and to be destroyed; and for Moses and his community to be victorious and dominant. In this context, one of the meanings of ‘showing the straight path’ is that the right solution to the problem of Pharaoh was revealed to them. Though this was a problem faced at the community level, its solution nevertheless lay in communicating the divine message. So, the victory and supremacy which they achieved was the result of dawah efforts and was not due to any national struggle or rebellion against Pharaoh in the usual sense.

The value of ayah key can either be:
- an object — this is the main tafsir group. It includes:
  - text: the tafsir content (can include HTML)
  - ayah_keys: an array of ayah keys this tafsir applies to
- a string — this indicates the tafsir is part of a group. The string points to the ayah_key where the tafsir text can be found.

SQLite exports includes the following columns

ayah_key: the ayah for which this record applies.
group_ayah_key: the ayah key that contains the main tafsir text (used for shared tafsir).
from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).
ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.
text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
