﴿قد سمع الله قول التي تجادلك في زوجها﴾ نزلت في سبب خولة بنت ثعلبة وزوجها أوس بن الصَّامت ظاهر منها وكان ذلك أوَّل ظهارٍ في الإِسلام وكان الظِّهار من طلاق الجاهليَّة فأتت رسول الله ﷺ وذكرت أنَّ زوجها ظاهر منها فقال رسول الله ﷺ: حَرُمْتِ عليه فقالت: أشكو إلى الله فاقتي ووحدتي وصبيةً صغاراً وجعلت تُراجع رسول الله ﷺ فإذا قال لها: حَرُمْتِ عليه هتفت وشكت إلى الله وقوله: ﴿والله يسمع تحاوركما﴾ أَيْ: تخاطبكما ومراجعتكما الكلام ثمَّ ذمَّ الظَّهار فقال:
