﴿والذين تبوؤوا الدار والإِيمان﴾ نزلوا المدينة وقبلوا الإيمان ﴿من قبلهم﴾ من قبل المهاجرين وهم الأنصار ﴿يحبون من هاجر إليهم﴾ من المسلمين ﴿ولا يجدون في صدورهم حاجة﴾ غيظاً وحسداً ﴿مما أوتوا﴾ ممَّا أُوتي المهاجرون من الفيء وذلك أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قسم أموال بني النَّضير بين المهاجرين ولم يعط الأنصار منها شيئاً إلاَّ ثلاثة نفرٍ كانت بهم حاجة فطابت أنفس الأنصار بذلك فذلك قوله: ﴿ويؤثرون على أنفسهم﴾ أَي: يختارون إخوانهم المهاجرين بالمال على أنفسهم ﴿ولو كان بهم خصاصة﴾ حاجةٌ وفاقةٌ إلى المال ﴿ومَنْ يوق شح نفسه﴾ مَنْ حُفظ من الحرص المهلك على المال وهو حرصٌ يحمله على إمساك المال عن الحقوق والحسد ﴿فأولئك هم المفلحون﴾
