وَمَا جَعَلۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٰٓئِكَةٗۖ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا عِدَّتَهُمۡ إِلَّا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيَسۡتَيۡقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَيَزۡدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنٗا وَلَا يَرۡتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ وَٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلٗاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَا يَعۡلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡبَشَرِ ٣١

﴿وما جعلنا أصحاب النار إلاَّ ملائكة﴾ لا رجالاً فمن ذا يغلب الملائكة؟ ﴿وما جعلنا عدتهم﴾ عددهم في القلَّة ﴿إلاَّ فتنة للذين كفروا﴾ لأنَّهم قالوا: ما أعون محمَّدٍ إلاَّ تسعة عشر ﴿ليستيقن الذين أوتوا الكتاب﴾ ليعلموا أنَّ ما أتى به النبي ﷺ موافقٌ لما في كتبهم ﴿ويزداد الذين آمنوا﴾ لأنَّهم يُصدِّقون بما أتى به الرَّسول عليه السَّلام وبعدد خزنة النَّار ﴿ولا يرتاب الذين أوتوا الكتاب والمؤمنون﴾ أَيْ: لا يشكُّون في أنَّ عددهم على ما أخبر به محمد عليه السَّلام ﴿وليقول الذين في قلوبهم مرض﴾ شكٌّ ﴿والكافرون: ماذا أراد الله بهذا مثلاً﴾ أيُّ شيءٍ أراد الله بهذا العدد وتخصيصه؟ ﴿كذلك﴾ كما أضلَّهم الله بتكذيبهم ﴿يضلُّ الله مَنْ يشاء ويهدي من يشاء وما يعلم جنود ربك إلاَّ هو﴾ هذا جوابٌ لقولهم: ما أعوانه إلاَّ تسعة عشر ﴿وما هي﴾ أي: النَّار ﴿إلاَّ ذكرى للبشر﴾ أَيْ: إنَّها تُذكِّرهم في الدُّنيا النّار في الآخرة

QUL supports exporting tafsir content in both JSON and SQLite formats. Tafsir text may include <html> tags for formatting such as <b>, <i>, etc.

  • Keys in the JSON are "ayah_key" in "surah:ayah", e.g. "2:3" means 3rd ayah of Surah Al-Baqarah.
  • The value of ayah key can either be:
    • an object — this is the main tafsir group. It includes:
      • text: the tafsir content (can include HTML)
      • ayah_keys: an array of ayah keys this tafsir applies to
    • a string — this indicates the tafsir is part of a group. The string points to the ayah_key where the tafsir text can be found.

SQLite exports includes the following columns

  • ayah_key: the ayah for which this record applies.
  • group_ayah_key: the ayah key that contains the main tafsir text (used for shared tafsir).
  • from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).
  • ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.
  • text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
