(وقد أضلوا كثيراً) أي وقال نوح قد أضل كبراؤهم ورؤساؤهم كثيراً من الناس، وقيل الضمير راجع إلى الأصنام أي ضل بسببها كثير من الناس كقول إبراهيم (رب إنهن أضللن كثيراً من الناس) وأجرى عليهم صيغة من يعقل لاعتقاد الكفار الذين يعبدونها أنها تعقل.
(ولا تزد الظالمين إلا ضلالاً) معطوف على (رب إنهم عصوني) ووضع الظاهر موضع المضمر تسجيلاً عليهم بالظلم، وقال أبو حيان: إنه معطوف على قد أضلوا ومعنى (إلا ضلالاً) إلا عذاباً كذا قال ابن بحر واستدل على ذلك بقوله (إن المجرمين في ضلال وسعر) وقيل إلا خسراناً، وقيل إلا فتنة بالمال والولد، وقيل الضياع وقيل ضلالاً في مكرهم، وهذا دعاء عليهم من نوح بعد أن أعلمه الله أنه لن يؤمن من قومك إلا من قد آمن.

Tafsir text may include <html> tags for formatting such as <b>,
<i>, etc.
Note:
Tafsir content may span multiple ayahs. QUL exports both the tafsir text and the ayahs it applies to.

from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
