(ثم ذهب إلى أهله يتمطى) أي يتبختر ويختال في مشيه افتخاراً بذلك، وقيل هو مأخوذ من المطا، وهو الظهر والمعنى يلوي مطاه وقيل أصله يتمطط وهو التمدد والتثاقل أي يتثاقل ويتكاسل عن الداعي إلى الحق.
قال الإمام هذا ذكر لما يتعلق بدنياه بعد ذكر ما يتعلق بدينه، وثم للاستبعاد لأن من صدر عنه مثل ذلك ينبغي أن يخاف من حلول غضب الله به فيمشي خائفاً منه متطامناً لا فرحاً متبختراً، ذكره الشهاب.
أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى (34) ثُمَّ أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى (35) أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنْ يُتْرَكَ سُدًى (36) أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِنْ مَنِيٍّ يُمْنَى (37) ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّى (38) فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنْثَى (39) أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى (40)
