ولَمّا ذَكَرَ التَّأْثِيرَ في الإحْياءِ، أتْبَعَهُ التَّأْثِيرَ في الجَماداتِ، وبَدَأ بِالسُّفْلِيّاتِ لِمُلابَسَتِها لِلْإنْسانِ فَتَكُونُ عِبْرَتُهُ بِها أكْثَرَ فَقالَ: ﴿وحُمِلَتِ﴾ أيْ بِمُجَرَّدِ القُدْرَةِ ﴿الأرْضُ﴾ [ أيِ -] المُنْبَسِطَةِ ورَجَّتْ رَجًّا ﴿والجِبالُ﴾ [ أيِ -] الَّتِي بِها ثَباتُها فَرُفِعَتْ مِن أماكِنِها، وبُسَّتا بَسًّا فَكانَتْ هَباءً مُنْبَثًّا، لَمْ يَبْقَ فِيهِما حَجَرٌ ولا كُدْيَةٌ.
ولَمّا أُرِيدَ قُوَّةُ الدَّكِّ والإبْلاغِ في تَأْثِيرِهِ، جَعَلَ الجِبالَ شَيْئًا واحِدًا فَقالَ: ﴿فَدُكَّتا﴾ أيْ مَسَحَتِ الجُمْلَتانِ الأرْضَ وأوْتادَها وبَسَطَتا ودَقَّ بَعْضُها بِبَعْضٍ ﴿دَكَّةً واحِدَةً﴾ أيْ فَصارَتا كَثِيبًا مَهِيلًا وسُوِّيَتا بِأيْسَرِ أمْرٍ فَلَمْ يُمَيَّزْ شَيْءٌ مِنهُما مِنَ الآخَرِ، بَلْ صارا في غايَةِ الِاسْتِواءِ، مِن قَوْلِهِمْ: ناقَةٌ دَكّاءُ، أيْ لا سَنامَ لَها. وأرْضٌ دَكّاءُ، أيْ مُتَّسِعَةً مُسْتَوِيَةً، (p-٣٥٤)قالُوا: والدَّكُّ والدَّقُّ - أخَوانِ، والدَّكُّ أبْلَغُ، قالَ أبُو حَيّانَ: والدَّكُّ فِيهِ تَفَرُّقُ الأجْزاءِ، والدَّقُّ فِيهِ اخْتِلاطُ الأجْزاءِ.
