قوله: {وَأَلَّوِ استقاموا} : «أنْ» هي المخففةُ. وقد تقدَّم أنه يُكتفى ب «لو» فاصلةً بين «أَنْ» الخفيفةِ وخبرِها، إذا كان جملةً فعلية في سورة سبأ. وقال أبو البقاء هنا: و «لو» عوضٌ كالسين وسوف. وقيل: «لو» بمعنى «إنْ» و «أنْ» بمعنى اللامِ، وليسَتْ بلازمةٍ كقوله: {لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ} [الشعراء: 16] وقال في موضعٍ آخرَ: {وَإِن لَّمْ يَنتَهُواْ} [المائدة: 73] ذكره ابن فَضَّال في «البرهان» . قلت: هذا شاذٌّ لا يُلتفت إليه البتَةَ؛ لأنه خلافُ النَّحْوِيين. وقرأ العامَّةُ بكسر واو «لو» على الأًصلِ. وابن وثاب والأعمشُ بضمِّها تشبيهاً بواوِ الضمير، وقد تقدم تحقيقُه في البقرة.
وقوله: {غَدَقاً} الغَدَقُ بفتح الدال وكسرِها: لغتان في الماءِ الغزيرِ، ومنه الغَيْداقُ: الماءُ الكثيرُ، وللرجلِ الكثيرِ العَدْوِ، والكثيرِ النطقِ. ويقال: غَدِقَتْ عينُه تَغْدَقُ أي: هَطَلَ دَمْعُها غَدَقاً. وقرأ العامَّةُ «غَدقاً» بفتحتَيْن. وعاصم فيما رَوَى عنه الأعشى بفتحِ الغينِ وكَسْرِ الدالِ، وتقدَّم أنهما لغتان.
