قوله (تعالى) [[ما بين القوسين ساقط من: ع.]]: ﴿وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُ يَزَّكَّى﴾ قال الكلبي: يصلح فيعمل خيرًا [[لم أعثر على مصدر لقوله.]]، قال الفراء: أي بما أراد أن يتعلمه من علمك [["معاني القرآن" 3/ 235 بنصه.]].
والمعنى: يتطهر من الذنوب بالعمل الصالح، والانتفاع بما يتعلم منك.
وذهب بعض المفسرين إلى أن المعنى: يتطهر من الشرك بالإسلام.
وهو قول: ابن زيد [["جامع البيان" 30/ 52، وعبارته: "لعله يزكى" يسلم. "معالم التنزيل" 4/ 446.]]، (ومعنى قول عطاء) [[النكت والعيون" 6/ 202، وعبارته: يؤمن، وهو قول مقاتل. انظر أيضًا: "زاد المسير" 8/ 180.]] [[ما بين القوسين ساقط من (ع).]]. والصحيح هو الأول؛ لأنه كان قد آمن (من) [[لم أعثر على مصدر لقوله.]] قبل هذه القصة قاله الكلبي [[ما بين القوسين ساقط من (أ).]].

Tafsir text may include <html> tags for formatting such as <b>,
<i>, etc.
Note:
Tafsir content may span multiple ayahs. QUL exports both the tafsir text and the ayahs it applies to.
