(قوله تعالى) [[ساقط من: ع.]]: ﴿عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ﴾، قال عكرمة: ما أدت إلى الله مما أمَرها به، ومَا ضيعت [[غير واضحة في (ع).]] مما أمرت به [[ورد معنى قوله في "جامع البيان" 30/ 86، "الكشف والبيان" ج 13: 49/ أ، "الدر المنثور" 8/ 838 وعزاه إلى سعيد بن منصور، وعبد بن حميد، وابن المنذر.]].
وقال ابن مسعود: ما قدمت من خير ومَا أخرت من سُنة استن بها بعده [["المحرر الوجيز" 5/ 446، "الدر المنثور" 8/ 438 وعزاه إلى ابن المبارك في: الزهد، وعبد بن حميد، وبن أبي حاتم.]].
وهو قول (الكلبي [[لم أعثر على مصدر لقوله.]]، ومجاهد [[لم أعثر على مصدر لقوله.]]، وقتادة [["تفسير عبد الرزاق" 2/ 354، "جامع البيان" 30/ 86.]]، وعطاء [["جامع البيان" 30/ 86، "الدر المنثور" 8/ 439 وعزاه إلى عبد بن حميد.]]، والقرظي [[لم أعثر على مصدر لقوله.]] [[لم يذكر في (أ)، هؤلاء المفسرين ولكن ذكر بدلًا منهم كلمة مختصرة وهي: وهو قول جماعة.]].
وهذه الآية مفسرة في قوله [[ينبؤ الإنسان يومئذ بما قدم وأخر]] [القيامة: 13].
