والمصدر المؤوّل (ما كانوا ... ) في محلّ نصب بنزع الخافض أي: ممّا كانوا ...
جملة: «آمنوا ... » لا محلّ لها صلة الموصول (الذين) .
وجملة: «الذين آمنوا ... » في محلّ جزم جواب شرط مقدّر أي: إن كان الذين أجرموا يضحكون من الذين آمنوا في الدنيا فالذين آمنوا يضحكون اليوم من الكافرين.
وجملة: «يضحكون ... » في محلّ رفع خبر المبتدأ (الذين) .
وجملة: «ينظرون ... » في محلّ نصب حال من فاعل يضحكون.
وجملة: «ثوّب الكفّار ... » لا محلّ لها استئنافيّة [[أو هي في محلّ نصب مفعول به لفعل النظر المعلّق بالاستفهام بتقدير حرف الجرّ.. وقيل هي في محلّ نصب مقول القول لقول مقدّر أي: يقول المؤمنون لبعضهم: هل ثوّب الكفّار ...]] .
