قَوْله تَعَالَى: ﴿وَقَالُوا رَبنَا إِنَّا أَطعْنَا سادتنا وكبراءنا﴾ وَقُرِئَ: " سَادَاتنَا "، وَقَوله: ﴿وكبراءنا﴾ هم الْأَشْرَاف ورءوس النَّاس.
قَوْله: ﴿فأضلونا السبيلا﴾ أَي: السَّبِيل، وَمَعْنَاهُ: صدونا عَن طَرِيق الْحق.
