Tafsir Al-Sam'ani tafsir for Surah Nuh — Ayah 4

يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُۚ لَوۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٤

وَقَوله: ﴿يغْفر لكم من ذنوبكم﴾ أَي: من ذنوبكم الَّتِي أوعدكم عَلَيْهَا الْعقُوبَة.

وَقد كَانَت لَهُم ذنُوب أخر عَفا الله عَنْهَا.

وَقَالَ الْفراء: " من " لَيست هَاهُنَا للتَّبْعِيض، . وَلكنهَا للتخصيص على معنى تَخْصِيص الذُّنُوب بالغفران.

وَقَوله: ﴿ويؤخركم إِلَى آجل مُسَمّى﴾ أَي: إِلَى الْمَوْت.

فَإِن قيل: هَذِه الْآيَة تدل على أَنه يجوز أَن يكون للْإنْسَان أجلان، وَأَن الْعقُوبَة تقع قبل الْأَجَل الْمَضْرُوب للْمَوْت.

وَالْجَوَاب من وَجْهَيْن: أَحدهمَا: أَنه يجوز أَن يُقَال: إِن الْأَجَل أجلان: أَحدهمَا: إِلَى سنة أَو سنتَيْن إِن عصوا الله، وَالْآخر: إِلَى عشر سِنِين أَو عشْرين سنة إِن أطاعوا الله، فعلى هَذَا قَوْله تَعَالَى: ﴿إِن أجل الله إِذا جَاءَ لَا يُؤَخر﴾ أَي: فِي حالتي الطَّاعَة وَالْمَعْصِيَة.

وَالْوَجْه الثَّانِي: أَن الْأَجَل وَاحِد بِكُل حَال.

وَقَوله ﴿ويؤخركم إِلَى أجل مُسَمّى﴾ أَي: يميتكم غير ميتَة الاستئصال والعقوبة، وَهُوَ الْمَوْت الَّذِي يكون بِلَا غرق وَلَا قتل وَلَا حرق.

وَقيل: يؤخركم إِلَى أجل مُسَمّى، أَي: عنْدكُمْ، وَهُوَ الْأَجَل الَّذِي تعرفونه، وَذَلِكَ موت من غير هَذِه الْوُجُوه.

وَهَذَا القَوْل أقرب إِلَى مَذْهَب أهل السّنة، فعلى هَذَا قَوْله: إِن أجل الله إِذا جَاءَ لَا يُؤَخر) هُوَ الْأَجَل الْمُسَمّى الْمَضْرُوب لكل إِنْسَان) .

وَقَوله ﴿لَو كُنْتُم تعلمُونَ﴾ [أَي] : إِن كُنْتُم تعلمُونَ.

QUL supports exporting tafsir content in both JSON and SQLite formats. Tafsir text may include <html> tags for formatting such as <b>, <i>, etc.

  • Keys in the JSON are "ayah_key" in "surah:ayah", e.g. "2:3" means 3rd ayah of Surah Al-Baqarah.
  • The value of ayah key can either be:
    • an object — this is the main tafsir group. It includes:
      • text: the tafsir content (can include HTML)
      • ayah_keys: an array of ayah keys this tafsir applies to
    • a string — this indicates the tafsir is part of a group. The string points to the ayah_key where the tafsir text can be found.

SQLite exports includes the following columns

  • ayah_key: the ayah for which this record applies.
  • group_ayah_key: the ayah key that contains the main tafsir text (used for shared tafsir).
  • from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).
  • ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.
  • text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
