وَقَالَ
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
لَا
(do) not
يَرْجُونَ
expect
لِقَآءَنَا
(the) meeting with Us
لَوْلَآ
Why not
أُنزِلَ
are sent down
عَلَيْنَا
to us
ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
the Angels
أَوْ
or
نَرَىٰ
we see
رَبَّنَا
our Lord
لَقَدِ
Indeed
ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟
they have become arrogant
فِىٓ
within
أَنفُسِهِمْ
themselves
وَعَتَوْ
and (become) insolent
عُتُوًّا
(with) insolence
كَبِيرًا
great
