وَلَقَدْ
And verily
أَتَوْا۟
they have come
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْقَرْيَةِ
the town
ٱلَّتِىٓ
which
أُمْطِرَتْ
was showered
مَطَرَ
(with) a rain
ٱلسَّوْءِ
(of) evil
أَفَلَمْ
Then do not
يَكُونُوا۟
they [were]
يَرَوْنَهَا
see it
بَلْ
Nay
كَانُوا۟
they are
لَا
not
يَرْجُونَ
expecting
نُشُورًا
