قَالَ
Said
ٱلَّذِى
one who
عِندَهُۥ
with him
عِلْمٌ
(was) knowledge
مِّنَ
of
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
the Scripture
أَنَا۠
I
ءَاتِيكَ
will bring it to you
بِهِۦ
will bring it to you
قَبْلَ
before
أَن
[that]
يَرْتَدَّ
returns
إِلَيْكَ
to you
طَرْفُكَ
your glance
فَلَمَّا
Then when
رَءَاهُ
he saw it
مُسْتَقِرًّا
placed
عِندَهُۥ
before him
قَالَ
he said
هَٰذَا
This
مِن
(is) from
فَضْلِ
(the) Favor
رَبِّى
(of) my Lord
لِيَبْلُوَنِىٓ
to test me
ءَأَشْكُرُ
whether I am grateful
أَمْ
or
أَكْفُرُ
I am ungrateful
وَمَن
And whoever
شَكَرَ
(is) grateful
فَإِنَّمَا
then only
يَشْكُرُ
he is grateful
لِنَفْسِهِۦ
for his own soul
وَمَن
And whoever
كَفَرَ
(is) ungrateful
فَإِنَّ
then indeed
رَبِّى
my Lord
غَنِىٌّ
(is) Self-sufficient
كَرِيمٌ
