He said
يَٰقَوْمِ
O my people
لِمَ
Why
تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
(do) you seek to hasten
بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ
the evil
قَبْلَ
before
ٱلْحَسَنَةِ
the good
لَوْلَا
Why not
تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
you ask forgiveness
ٱللَّهَ
(of) Allah
لَعَلَّكُمْ
so that you may
تُرْحَمُونَ
receive mercy
