وَلَمَّا

And when

بَلَغَ

he reached

أَشُدَّهُۥ

his full strength

وَٱسْتَوَىٰٓ

and became mature

ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ

We bestowed upon him

حُكْمًا

wisdom

وَعِلْمًا

and knowledge

وَكَذَٰلِكَ

And thus

نَجْزِى

We reward

ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

the good-doers
