وَإِذَا

And when

سَمِعُوا۟

they hear

ٱللَّغْوَ

vain talk

أَعْرَضُوا۟

they turn away

عَنْهُ

from it

وَقَالُوا۟

and say

لَنَآ

For us

أَعْمَٰلُنَا

our deeds

وَلَكُمْ

and for you

أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ

your deeds

سَلَٰمٌ

Peace (be)

عَلَيْكُمْ

on you

لَا

not

نَبْتَغِى

we seek

ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ

the ignorant
