وَإِذْ
And when
قَالَت
said
طَّآئِفَةٌ
a party
مِّنْهُمْ
of them
يَٰٓأَهْلَ
O People
يَثْرِبَ
(of) Yathrib
لَا
No
مُقَامَ
stand
لَكُمْ
for you
فَٱرْجِعُوا۟
so return
وَيَسْتَـْٔذِنُ
And asked permission
فَرِيقٌ
a group
مِّنْهُمُ
of them
ٱلنَّبِىَّ
(from) the Prophet
يَقُولُونَ
saying
إِنَّ
Indeed
بُيُوتَنَا
our houses
عَوْرَةٌ
(are) exposed
وَمَا
and not
هِىَ
they
بِعَوْرَةٍ
(were) exposed
إِن
Not
يُرِيدُونَ
they wished
إِلَّا
but
فِرَارًا
to flee
