And certainly
كَانُوا۟

عَٰهَدُوا۟
promised
ٱللَّهَ
Allah

قَبْلُ

لَا

يُوَلُّونَ
they would turn
ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ
their backs
وَكَانَ
And is
عَهْدُ
(the) promise
ٱللَّهِ
(to) Allah
مَسْـُٔولًا
to be questioned
