وَلَقَدْ

And certainly

ءَاتَيْنَا

We gave

دَاوُۥدَ

Dawood

مِنَّا

from Us

فَضْلًا

Bounty

يَٰجِبَالُ

O mountains

أَوِّبِى

Repeat praises

مَعَهُۥ

with him

وَٱلطَّيْرَ

and the birds

وَأَلَنَّا

And We made pliable

لَهُ

for him

ٱلْحَدِيدَ

[the] iron
