كَذَّبَتْ

Denied

قَبْلَهُمْ

before them

قَوْمُ

(the) people

نُوحٍ

(of) Nuh

وَٱلْأَحْزَابُ

and the factions

مِنۢ

after them

بَعْدِهِمْ

after them

وَهَمَّتْ

and plotted

كُلُّ

every

أُمَّةٍۭ

nation

بِرَسُولِهِمْ

against their Messenger

لِيَأْخُذُوهُ

to seize him

وَجَٰدَلُوا۟

and they disputed

بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ

by falsehood

لِيُدْحِضُوا۟

to refute

بِهِ

thereby

ٱلْحَقَّ

the truth

فَأَخَذْتُهُمْ

So I seized them

فَكَيْفَ

Then how

كَانَ

was

عِقَابِ

My penalty
