أَفَلَمْ
Do they not
يَسِيرُوا۟
travel
فِى
through
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land
فَيَنظُرُوا۟
and see
كَيْفَ
how
كَانَ
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
(the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
(of) those who
مِن
(were) before them
قَبْلِهِمْ
(were) before them
كَانُوٓا۟
They were
أَكْثَرَ
more numerous
مِنْهُمْ
than them
وَأَشَدَّ
and mightier
قُوَّةً
(in) strength
وَءَاثَارًا
and impressions
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land
فَمَآ
but not
أَغْنَىٰ
availed
عَنْهُم
them
مَّا
what
كَانُوا۟
they used to
يَكْسِبُونَ
earn
