فَأَمَّا
Then as for
عَادٌ
Aad
فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟
they were arrogant
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land
بِغَيْرِ
without
ٱلْحَقِّ
[the] right
وَقَالُوا۟
and they said
مَنْ
Who
أَشَدُّ
(is) mightier
مِنَّا
than us
قُوَّةً
(in) strength
أَوَلَمْ
Do not
يَرَوْا۟
they see
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
ٱلَّذِى
the One Who
خَلَقَهُمْ
created them
هُوَ
He
أَشَدُّ
(is) Mightier
مِنْهُمْ
than them
قُوَّةً
(in) strength
وَكَانُوا۟
But they used to
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
in Our Signs
يَجْحَدُونَ
deny
