يَسْمَعُ
Who hears
ءَايَٰتِ
(the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
تُتْلَىٰ
recited
عَلَيْهِ
to him
ثُمَّ
then
يُصِرُّ
persists
مُسْتَكْبِرًا
arrogantly
كَأَنأَن
as if
لَّمْ
not
يَسْمَعْهَا
he heard them
فَبَشِّرْهُ
So give him tidings
بِعَذَابٍ
(of) a punishment
أَلِيمٍ
painful
